怦然心动电影英语观后感1
Because of a friend’s strong recommendation,《flipped》is a movie I wanted to watch a long time ago. Then till the vacation,I finally had the chance to enjoy it.
It’s a story showed from the perspective of two people watching the same issue.A little girl and a little boy met at their second grade. The girl fell in love with her newly moved neighbour because of his dazzling eyes. But the boy was always mad at the girl because of her bored broadcast about every morning’s school bus,her family’s yard was always in a mess and her ugly sycamore tree. Then the girl realized that the boy wasn’t the kind of person who is more than the sum of his parts. However, the boy gradually began to find the
kindness,self-awareness,pureness.
Little Julie has many virtues which impress me.First, she adhered to herself. She loved the sycamore tree in their block.Because she could sit at the braches for hours and amazed by the view. When someone wanted to cut the sycamore tree down, she sat there bravely to protect it.She didn’t care about others’ incomprehension and ridicule.Second, she showed sympathy for the weak. She loved her uncle, although he had a severe handicap. And she bid for the Basketboy number 8 at Mayfield Boosters Club Action because no one bid for the boy.Last but not least, she had a merits of the girl, such as
strong feeling of self-respect on her own.She had the ability to rationally judge whether Bryce is worth to love.
Two families with two children in this film,we can also see people with different personalities. When you were young, you may have a lot of things confused. In such a stage a mentor or a guide is a very important thing.Bryce is lucky,he had a grandfather in life to tell him who he is and he should become a kind and honest person.Just as the dialogue says,”Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss. But every once in a while, you find someone who’s iridescent.”Julie is also very lucky. She had a family to give her the right values.
At the end of the film, with the beautiful songsang by The Everly Brothers, the two hands overlapped together.
怦然心动电影英语观后感2
Juliehad felt flipped because of Bryce’s brilliant bright eyes at a very early age and began topay court to him. But at first he was fed up with her and tried his best to get away from her stalking. However, being misunderstood and being looked down upon, Juliestarted to reconsider her love to Bryce, especially when her favorite jewel--the sycamore tree was cut down. She even refused to chat with Bryce after that he had done a set of foolish deed which really broke her heart. On the other hand, influenced by his grandfather and Julie’s optimism, Bryce began to agree with Julie’s belief and finally he found he had a big crush on her and felt flipped in turn. In the end, Bryce rebuilt a sycamore tree and won back Julie’s love.
This film told a simple romance about a determined girl and an ignorant boy.But the plot of the film was a subtle statement, from the perspective of two people watching the same issue. It shaped vivid roles which exactly reminded audience of their early puberty.
More significantly, the film taught me that we ought to treasure magnificent views and right values rather than property. The two protagonists are so lucky that they had life mentors to director them. What the litter couple had gained from the love affairs is not each other’s love but also ,more importantly ,admirable personality that will accompany them for a lifetime.
怦然心动电影英语观后感3
There are moments in adolescence when your feelings about romance turn on a dime. Maybe it's hormonal.
The girl you thought was a pest becomes the object of your dreams. The boy you've had a crush on for years begins to seem like a jerk. The timing is off. Sometimes you can look back half a lifetime and see how things might have happened differently if you hadn't been so stupid. Rob Reiner's "Flipped" does the looking.
Here is a lovely movie about a girl who has adored a boy ever since he moved into the neighborhood in the second grade. She even likes his smell, and it is true we cannot love someone who isn't aromatic to our hearts.
All through grade school and into high school, she pursues him; they're like the runners in Keats' “Ode on a Grecian Urn” who pursue each other for eternity without ever drawing closer. In Reiner's film, they flip and start running in the other direction.
Madeline Carroll plays Juli Baker, who was determined to get Bryce Loski (Callan McAuliffe) to like her when they were kids, but in eighth grade has turned her attention to more urgent matters, like sparing the life of the beautiful sycamore tree in her front yard
It is threatened with being chopped down by the forces of evil, and she climbs it and won't come down. That shows some character, muses Bryce's grandfather Chet (John Mahoney). If he were Bryce, he'd notice a girl like that. Bryce begins to catch on.
There are difficulties and the possibility of heartbreak. There always are in high school. You wear your sleeve on your heart. There are parents. Not everybody has parents like "Juno" did. If Juno had ordinary parents, her story would be a grim morality play. But "Flipped" doesn't haul in standard parents of teenagers
.Reiner wisely casts gifted actors (Aidan Quinn and Penelope Ann Miller as the Bakers, and Anthony Edwards and Rebecca De Mornay as the Loskis). He knows that Mahoney can save a wise grandfather from cornball with sheer brute force of niceness.
There's a screenplay device by Reiner and Andrew Scheinman, based on the novel by Wendelin Van Draanan, that could be arduous but works here because it has been thought through. The key events in the film are seen from both points of view: Bryce's and Juli's.
Teenagers often lose the beat emotionally, and these two need John Philip Sousa. There isn't trickery: The scenes happen as they seem to, and not in alternate universes. But they seem so different, depending on who is seeing them.
There's one of those events so beloved by teenage girls in which they can exact excruciating embarrassment on boys while seeming to be blithely unaware. The boys are auctioned off to the girls as lunch room partners to raise money for charity.
Yeah, that's what a guy wants, to stand onstage while the most patronizing teacher in the school handles the bidding. Of course, it all goes tragically wrong for Juli and Bryce, but for what seems like different reasons.
Reiner sets most of the movie in 1963 (his classic "Stand by Me," is set a few years earlier, in 1959), and I don't think it's just for nostalgia. In a way, that's the last year of American teenage innocence, before the '60s took hold. Madeline Carroll and Callan McAuliffe, who both look teeth-achingly vulnerable, are sincere and pure and wholesome, and are characters we believe can be hurt.
Some of today's teenagers are more wounded and cynical than their parents ever were. And for some of them sex is not an undiscovered country.
Maybe what makes "Flipped" such a warm entertainment is how it re-creates a life we wish we'd had when we were 14. That's true for adults, and also I suspect true for some 14-year-olds. In a way the audience flips, too.
怦然心动电影英语观后感4
Very interested, watched a movie tonight.Seen from the micro-Bo 12 constellations should look at love movies, chose that part Taurus "She Bangs",I feel pretty good. The last was very moved to see "If you choose,no matter how must go."
This is a look at the title to know the love of film, tells the story of Julie and Bryce childhood growing development of the story.Bryce moved since the beginning of Julie, but at first sight for him fascinated.Despite a very early age,but then Julie Bryce pursued. And finds her first kiss should be Blythe. But Bryce has not been how bother her.
Because his family was not very good,Julie, father of ridicule by Bryce, and Bryce thus echoing,he hopes to get rid of Julie's stalker.Julie Bryce well, but that does not appreciate Bryce and sent to Julie threw eggs. Finally, also hurt Julie.Julie began to doubt his own wishful thinking,I feel very sad.
Especially when the point of view of Bryce agrees Gary mentally handicapped uncle insult Julie,Julie began to no longer remain in the hearts of the location to Bryce, but began to feel not care when feeling down when not so bad. When Bryce finally realized that he had for Julie tempted,he found his mistake.
To make up for his mistake,he is crazy. Finally found a way to compensate. He Julie's yard on a Kewutongshu.Because in the Indus tree,Julie saw a very beautiful view. The last two people naturally go together.
My deepest feelings are that scene:Julie dialogue with her daddy at the time of painting."Which part of the whole and relatively large." Sometimes in some people's eyes, than the overall important part and will far outweigh a whole. As long as there are his eyes, then everything else does not care.Another screen is Julie in the treetops while watching the scenery。
When a person continues to climb, when you will find more beautiful scenery.Sometimes stay in place for too long, they think the original is the best.In fact, people still continue to climb to the status quo. This question depends only on ourselves.Perhaps the beautiful scenery at a higher place, sometimes just do not forget to think about continuing to climb.
In fact,if then climb a little, maybe a little longer to move forward,to see perhaps a more clear insight into the views of the people.
怦然心动电影英语观后感5
After watching Flipped, i was totally moved by its romantic plot. The heroine, Juli Baker, who is regarded as a strange student in the school, did leave a strong impression in my heart. What i want to say after watching it is that a special girl deserves a beautiful love. Juli is the one i admire so much.
Juli Baker met Bryce Loski in her second grade, and she was flipped from then on because of his watermelon-scented hair and a pair of dazzling eyes. Though Bryce shew no interest in her and did everything he could to keep away from her, she never gave up and spent the whole year
wondering if she could ever get his kiss. When they were in seventh grade, Juli fell in love with a large, old sycamore tree, which no one understood. Right after seeing the tree being cut down but Bryce didn’t help, and seeing him throwing the eggs she gave him, Juli began to think about whether Bryce was the right person. Fortunately, Bryce finally found that Juli was so precious a girl, and the ending was happiness.
There are two impressive scenes that i eagerly want to share. First of all is the scene that Juli sits on the large, old sycamore tree which let her see the world in a much more enlightened way. She can stay on the tree quietly for a whole day, looking at the marvelous world with curiosity. She loves nature, and is willing to protect it at the risk of her “reputation” among the schoolmates. From my perspective, she is an invaluable gift compared to her schoolmates. She never follows fashion blindly, instead, she exactly knows what she wants. Ask ourselves, when the whole world call you “nerd”or “freak”, are you dare to turn a blind eye to these rumors? Do you still have courage to follow your heart?
Moreover, it was the sweet smile Juli gave to her uncle that made me moved again. She never blames her mentally challenged uncle, on the contrary, she chose to celebrate the birthday for him. When her uncle lost control in the public, she didn’t feel ashamed. Mature as she is, she shoulders the responsibility of her family. What’s more, she clearly knows the importance of tolerance and love.
No wonder that Chet, Bryce’s grandfather, says that Juli is a rare kind of girl who's hard to come across. And it is no wonder that this special girl can finally find her soul mate and harvest her sweetest first love.
