教材分析
本教材的教学目标是激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们英语学习的积极态度,使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心;培养学生装一定的语感和良好的语音、语调,书写基础,以及良好的学习习惯;使他们形成初步用英语进行简单交流的能力,同时,培养学生的观察、记忆、思维和创造的能力。
翻阅此教材,总体感觉此教材有如下特点:
1、强调语言运用
本教材吸收了交际教学思想,注重学生语言应用能力的培养。在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法选用等方面都紧密联系学生的生活实际,体现语言的交际功能,把话题———功能———结构———任务结合起来,并根据学生的年龄特点,采用"全部动作反应法"让学生在有节奏的说唱中体验语言。
2、注重能力培养
本教材在内容安排、活动设计和学习评价上都贯穿"学会学习"的主题。十分注重培养学生自主学习和独立运用所学语言去做事情的能力。
3、突出兴趣出发
本教材从内容、形式、方法、插图及装帧设计等方面都以限度地激发学生的学习动机和兴趣。教学内容紧密联系学生装生活与实际。选择话题充分考虑小学生的需求。

一、学生情况分析

三、教学方法
1、会话教学
本册会话教学部分均设计在各种真实自然的情景之中,并以连环画的形式出现。其目的在于分散教学难点,循序渐进,便于表演。三年级学生的特征就是爱玩,了表现自己。因此,用表演和游戏的形式来进行交流,学习语言,运用语言是最恰当的`。尽量做到:融会话教学于情景表演之中,让学生装在表演中练,在交际活动中用。
2、词汇教学
本册书中的单词都是围绕话题集中归类出现的。巧用实物和卡片,在兴奋刺激的游戏中让学生学会单词。将单词的教学融于会话教学之中。充分发挥"TPR"的优势,动作与节奏相结合。
3、字母教学
字母是本册书的重点教学内容之一。26个字母是英语学习的基础,学好26个字母对学生装以后的发音、拼读和记忆是单词都起着至关重要的作用。
本册书中前三个单元每单元出现6至10个字母,每个字母都配有三个以上该字母为首字母的例词,供学生在听说例词的过程中逐步了解字母在单词中的发音。在教学时采用填字母、画图和找字母等方法进行趣味操练。
